Aid in the provision of vocational skills training for women to promote independence and economic stability.
long term change
skills training
We aim to foster long-term change in Zambian communities by supporting institutions that provide skills training to Zambian women. Our goal is to empower individuals, particularly women, towards self-sufficiency so that they may create multi-generational change.
Flip Flop Foundation began supporting skills training projects in 2009. We are currently supporting several organizations which are coordinating skills training programs for women, in particular beadwork / jewelry-making, tailoring, and tie-dye fabric painting. Flip Flop Foundation provides the raw materials for the training and also helps support the organizations by helping to provide an outlet for the finished product.
